Overview
The Department of Criminology and Political Science seeks applications from qualified candidates for a full-time, nontenure track, instructional assistant professor position beginning in Fall 2024. Candidates with any specialization are welcome to apply; however, those with a specialization in legal studies are preferred. The person hired for this position will teach upper-division courses as well as advise and assist with recruiting students at Texas A&M RELLIS located in Bryan, TX. The base teaching load for this position at A&M-SA is 4/4. Summer teaching assignments may be available but are not guaranteed.
Required Education and Experience:
- A Ph.D. by the time of appointment in Political Science or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution.
- A demonstrated specialization in Political Science.
- University teaching experience.
