The Department of Economics at the University of Oklahoma invites
applications for a Lecturer of Economics Teaching Specialist position. The successful candidate will have demonstrated teaching excellence
and is capable of effectively leading large Macroeconomics classes (lectures are 400-500 students each) and a variety of other undergraduate
courses.
The regular teaching load is 4:4 or equivalent. Completion of a Ph.D. in Economics prior to start date, August 15, 2026 is
required. Contributions to our service missions are also expected. Salary and benefits are competitive. A background check is required for
employment.

Qualifications:
A Ph.D. in Economics is required by appointment date. ABD candidates may apply but
must have a Ph.D. in Economics degree in hand by start date.
