Gannon University’s College of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences seeks a Visiting Professor in Political Science. The appointment for this nine-month position begins August 2017. The successful candidate will teach introductory courses in U.S. Government and Public Policy and be prepared to offer specialized upper level courses on topics such as the Presidency, Congress, and Political Parties. Specific focus of specialization is open and opportunities to teach in the specialization area are available during the spring semester. Requirements include an earned doctorate in Political Science (completed by fall 2017) with demonstrated teaching excellence in higher education. Candidates must be able to support and promote the University’s inclusive Mission, its Catholic identity, and its liberal arts and professional education traditions.
