The Davidson College Department of Hispanic Studies seeks to hire a Visiting Assistant Professor for a two-year position. We are seeking a generalist with expertise in Second Language Acquisition.

Teaching load is five courses per year in Hispanic Studies at the introductory or intermediate language level. The successful candidate will demonstrate a record of excellence in foreign language teaching. Additional responsibilities include participation in departmental and college activities. Native/near-native fluency in Spanish and English is required.

Preference given to candidates with a PhD in hand in Hispanic Studies or related field by August 2018; those who hold ABD status are also welcome to apply.
