Overview

The Criminal Justice Department at Indiana University South Bend invites applications for two positions at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice beginning August 14, 2017. Both positions are one-year appointments. Candidates should demonstrate their ability to teach core criminal justice courses such as crime theories, research methodologies, corrections, policing, etc. Duties include teaching both face-to-face and online courses.

Each position will teach 12 credit hours per semester.

IU South Bend is Indiana University’s largest regional campus.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ph.D. in Criminal Justice or terminal degree in closely related field encouraged
  • ABD with August degree date considered
  • Candidates should demonstrate their ability to teach core criminal justice courses such as crime theories, research methodologies, corrections, policing, etc.
