The International Affairs Program at Lafayette College invites applications for a VISITING ASSISTANT PROFESSOR in International Affairs for the academic year 2018-2019. The IA Program at Lafayette College is a long-standing, popular, and cutting-edge program in global studies. We seek to hire a faculty member with strong interdisciplinary expertise with preference for candidates with depth in areas such as transnational and global migration, race and ethnicity, hybridity, and indigeneity. Other concentrations also will be considered.

The successful candidate will teach a globalization gateway course, research methods, the capstone senior seminar, and several courses in their own field of specialization. This is a full-time appointment with a 3/3 teaching load.

Candidates should have some interdisciplinary background and experience in teaching undergraduates. A PhD is required. ABD candidates with a firm completion date by August 2018 will also be considered.
