Overview

The Department of Political Science at the College of the Holy Cross invites applications for a full-time tenure-track appointment to begin in August 2019. We are seeking a specialist in European politics who is also well-trained in international relations. The successful applicant will teach Introduction to International Relations and a survey course on European politics, as well as additional European politics courses reflecting the candidate’s particular interests and expertise.

This position carries a 3-2 teaching load with a full-salary one-semester research leave prior to tenure review, and generous sabbatical and fellowship leaves for tenured faculty. Tenure track faculty are eligible for travel support and reimbursement of relocation costs within the College’s published policies. Candidates must demonstrate commitment to, and excellence in, undergraduate teaching at the introductory and advanced levels as well as scholarly achievement. Ph.D. in hand or imminent completion required.
