The position requires at least: (1) a Master’s degree in Philosophy or (2) at least 18 graduate semester hours in any combination of Ethics, Logic, or Philosophy.
Prefer applicants with: (1) community college teaching experience and (2) the ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends, and online courses.
A faculty member shall be assigned to the appropriate salary grade based on the College’s contract with the faculty union. The present entry levels are: (Grade III) Bachelor’s degree plus college faculty experience $42,187, (Grade II) Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in the field $44,248, (Grade II+) Master’s degree plus 30 graduate semester hours in the teaching field $46,514 and (Grade I) an earned Doctorate in major field $48,781.
