The Department of Foreign Languages & Literatures at Middle Tennessee State University invites applicants for a full-time temporary, faculty position (#122050) in Japanese. This is a one year temporary position (with possible renewal for up to three years total) at the rank of Lecturer. Position begins August 1, 2017.

Specialization is open: linguistics, second language acquisition, or literature/culture.

Required Education:
Master’s degree in Japanese, Education or related field required by appointment date.

Required Related Experience:
The successful candidate will have prior experience teaching for communicative competence, from beginning to advanced level courses, at the university level.
