The University of North Georgia invites applicants for a full-time Limited Term Faculty position (with benefits) for the 2017-2018 academic year in the Department of History, Anthropology and Philosophy on the Gainesville campus.Located in the fastest-growing region of the state, the University of North Georgia is a multi-campus university with an enrollment of over 18,000 students, making it one of the largest institutions in the University System of Georgia. Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Faculty member will be responsible for teaching fifteen (15) hours per semester (undergraduate) of introductory courses in history, particularly both halves of the U.S. survey.

Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:

  • M.A. or Ph.D. in History at the time of hire required
  • Teaching experience at the college level is preferred
