GRINNELL COLLEGE. The Department of Sociology invites applications for a one-year term appointment beginning Fall 2018. Areas of specialization are open. Assistant Professor (Ph.D.) preferred; Instructor (ABD) or Associate Professor possible. Research and teaching interests might include, but are not limited to: political economy, comparative and historical sociology, or global sociology. The successful candidate should plan to teach 1-2 introductory courses, 1 theory course, and offer 1-2 courses in their area of specialization.
