Overview

The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at Case Western Reserve University invites applications for one full-time lecturer position in Japanese starting Fall 2017. The position is a non-tenured one-year appointment, renewable upon the approval of the Dean’s office. Primary teaching duties are three courses each semester at all levels of Japanese.

Credentials:

  • M.A. (Ph.D. in SLA, applied linguistic, and related fields a plus),
  • evidence of excellence in undergraduate language teaching, and
  • native/near-native language ability both in Japanese and English.
