Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology is announcing an opening for a full-time, tenure track, 9-month faculty position in English. This position will begin with the Spring Semester of 2019. Faculty work load includes a teaching load of 15 contact hours per week, holding 10 office/advising hours per week, and participating in college professional activities. This faculty member will teach English courses from developmental through advanced. Will prepare lessons; provide course syllabus, utilize learning outcomes assessment and measure to improve learning/instruction.

Minimum requirements:¬†Master’s degree in English is preferred or a master’s degree with 18 credit hours in English courses. Should have at least two years’ experience teaching college-level English and composition at a two-year college.

Salary and rank is determined on the basis of academic preparation and experience as projected on the Faculty Association contract.
