Position SummaryThe University at Buffalo (SUNY) seeks to hire a Clinical Assistant Professor (Non-Tenure Track, 10-Month, Full-Time Faculty), beginning Fall 2018. Initial appointment is for one-year with possibility of renewal (maximum of 3 years total). Teaching load is 8 courses per year (4 per semester; Undergraduate levels), plus regular committee duties. AOS: APPLIED ETHICS or ETHICS. AOC: Open. The successful candidate will be expected to teach a range of undergraduate service courses in Applied Ethics, including: Environmental Ethics; Professional Ethics; Biomedical Ethics; and Contemporary Moral Problems, in addition to other undergrad service courses. Minimum QualificationsPhD conferred by time of appointment. All but dissertation will be considered for exceptional candidates.
Preferred QualificationsTrack record of successful teaching at the post-secondary level.
