Overview

This position will teach Spanish language and culture courses beginning in the 2018-2019 academic year. The successful candidate is expected to maintain excellence in undergraduate student-centered teaching and departmental and institutional service. Responsibilities include: teaching a 4/4 course load; advising students; promotion of foreign language study; development of internship and service learning opportunities. Candidates should demonstrate willingness to lead and coordinate study abroad programs. Spanish for the Professions program development input is desired.

Requirements:Master’s degree in the areas of Spanish, Spanish Linguistics and/or Spanish Language Acquisition/Pedogology, a minimum of three years undergraduate teaching experience, and native or near-native fluency in Spanish and English are required.
