Position Details:
Wesleyan University’s Department of Philosophy invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Philosophy beginning July 1, 2018. Candidate must specialize in Critical Philosophy of Race and 20th-Century Francophone Philosophy (with fluency in French preferred), with further areas of competence in Africana Philosophy, Feminist Philosophy, and Environmental Philosophy. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Philosophy by the time of Appointment. The teaching load is 2/2. Additional duties include advising and mentoring students, carrying on a program of research, and participating in faculty governance at the departmental and university level. Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Philosophy by the time of Appointment.
