Overview

The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Philosophy for Fall 2018 on the Parkville, Missouri, campus. The successful candidate will teach entry and advanced-level undergraduate courses in the discipline, coordinate the rapidly growing Interdisciplinary Studies major, and serve as the Program Coordinator for Philosophy and Religion. Experience with General Education programming also is desired. Faculty are expected to engage in scholarly research and provide university service.

Required Qualifications
Ph.D. by August 2018 in Philosophy or a very closely related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in online and blended/hybrid instruction and curriculum development.
  • Experience with General Education curriculum.
  • Teaching Experience at the Collegiate Level.
