Status: Full Time (Tenure Track)

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Teach four (4) English-related classes (12 hours) per semester
  • Engage in scholarly research
  • Serve on committees
  • Advise students
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the department chair

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in English, Rhetoric and Composition, or a related field is required
  • College-level teaching experience and a record of scholarly activity are preferred
  • Successful candidates must have broad teaching interests in English, but special consideration will be given to candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas: American Literature, Modern Grammar, and Linguistics

Salary
