The Department of Political Science, International Affairs, and Public Administration at East Tennessee State University invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor beginning August 15, 2019. The position carries a 3/3 teaching load, shared between the undergraduate Political Science program and the graduate Public Administration program. The Department expects the successful applicant to maintain an active research program and to participate in service to the department, university, profession, and community.

Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesStrong background in quantitative research methods.

Required QualificationsApplicants must have a Ph.D in Political Science with either a subfield in Public Administration or an MPA degree.

Preferred QualificationsPh.D subfields and teaching experience in Public Law or American.
