Description

Candidate will teach and develop a wide range of undergraduate and graduate creative writing courses, particularly in fiction; publish fiction; actively contribute to the intellectual and professional life of the department, university, and surrounding community.

Minimum QualificationsEarned MFA or PhD in Creative Writing by August 1, 2017; at least one published book of fiction by a nationally recognized press; record of effective teaching at the college or university level.

Preferred QualificationsRecord of effective teaching of fiction writing at the college or university level; secondary specialization in another genre (with a record of publication or production); experience in teaching literary editing and publishing; or experience with service learning initiatives.
