Overview

Responsibilities:
This is a full time, 9 month, tenure track position in English. The teaching load will be 4 courses (12 credit hours)per semester. Primary responsibilities will include instructing and advising English and English Education majors. Course loading will included general education English courses to be instructed in accordance with established course as well as creative fiction courses. Typical University service associated with tenure-track appointments is required (service on committees, commencement participation, etc.)

Qualifications:
Preferred candidates will possess a Master’s in Fine Arts degree or Ph.D. with specialty in prose fiction. The degree must generally be from an institution accredited by the Association of Schools and Colleges or the equivalent.
