The Department of Social Work (undergraduate), School of Arts and Sciences-Newark, Rutgers University-Newark invites candidates to apply for a tenure track Assistant Professor position to begin September 1, 2019 within our growing and vibrant department.
The new faculty member will be expected to maintain an active body of academic research demonstrated through teaching, service, and research that incorporates external funding and professional presentations, university service, and community engaged scholarship.
Earned doctorate in social work, an MSW from a CSWE accredited program, and two years of post-MSW social work experience. Candidates should have a record of scholarly publication and/or external funding, experience working with diverse student populations, and social work teaching experience.
