The Department of Philosophy invites applications for a one-year faculty position to begin in August 2019. The successful candidate will have a sympathy for and understanding of the Catholic philosophical tradition, and a broad knowledge of the history of philosophy. Candidates will teach Human Nature and Ethics seminars as well as Conversatio, a multidisciplinary course providing every Saint Anselm student a shared learning experience in the Liberal Arts. Required SkillsA Ph.D. in Philosophy is preferred, but ABD’s will be considered. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level.
Required ExperienceTeaching experience at the undergraduate level is preferred.
