MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A doctorate or an individual at ABD status who is within one year of completing their degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or a closely related social science field.


  • Evidence of teaching experience or potential to be a strong educator.
  • Evidence of discipline-specific research or potential to engage in scholarly work.
  • Evidence of discipline-specific service or potential to engage in departmental, university, and community service.

RESPONSIBILITIES: This is a nine-month, tenure-track position. The candidate accepted for this position will be expected to teach 12 credit hours per semester at the undergraduate and graduate level in criminal justice (will include both on-campus and online courses), pursue continuing/on-going research related to criminal justice or related field, and participate in departmental, university, and discipline service activities.
