The University is experiencing tremendous growth and is currently accepting applications for a Full time professor of History. The individual selected for this position is expected to hold a PhD in Social Sciences (History) from a regionally accredited institution. Advanced ABDs will be considered. Potential candidates with a strong understanding of market-driven universities and the online teaching environment are highly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities will include:
* Teaching undergraduate courses
* Develop new programs
* Create Syllabi
* Serve as lead faculty for online instructors
* Assist with student retention and tutoring
* Perform administrative duties as assigned
Full-time faculty members are required to make their employment at Chancellor University their primary employment commitment.
Job requirements include:
* PhD in Social Sciences
* Advanced ABDs will be considered
* Experience working in an online/adult learning environment strongly preferred
* Understanding and appreciation of competency-based education
* Skills in the use of technology-based delivery systems
