Assistant or Associate Professor of Psychology wanted for a tenure-track position in a
dynamic and productive psychology department starting January 2011 (pending budgetary approval). We are seeking a candidate who is comfortable working at a small state college in a rural setting. The successful candidate will be a generalist with a Ph.D. in psychology who has experience with and a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching, student-centered learning, and undergraduate research. Potential courses include Introduction to Psychology, Child Development, Adolescent & Adult Development, Lifespan Development, Statistics, Abnormal Psychology, and Psychology of Sport. A background in developmental or clinical/counseling psychology preferred. Additional responsibilities include academic advising, scholarly activities, and service.
