Job Summary/Basic Function: Teach undergraduate courses in Spanish, advise students, and perform service to the department, university, and community; will also assist faculty in the Modern Languages and Cultures Department in the implementation of multi-media technologies in their teaching; coordinate and train faculty on new foreign language software and technology tools; assist faculty in the design of online blended courses; coordinate acquisition of new material; oversee the budget and operation of the Language Lab; maintaining awareness of new software and technical advances.

Minimum Qualifications: Requires doctorate in Spanish, or any related field with a minimum 18 hours of graduate-level coursework in Spanish language instruction. Requires native or near-native fluency in Spanish.
